《华尔街日报》指出，受影响的中国学生数字无法确定，但每周都在增加，一些学生们被告知，签证撤销的原因是违反交通规则。
界面新闻报道的一个案例，是一名留学生和前男友在争执时，邻居报警，她被逮捕去了警局。案件虽然早已撤销，却成为移民局终止她学生身份的理由。

The campaign, which security firm Check Point has named Rampant Kitten, comprises two main components, one for Windows and the other for Android. Rampant Kitten’s objective is to steal Telegram messages, passwords, and two-factor authentication codes sent by SMS and then also take screenshots and record sounds within earshot of an infected phone, the researchers said in a post published on Friday.
